Default Wet sanding M3 bonnet

Did this bonnet today for Mautomotive designs, while i probably should've started with 1200 or 1500, i went with 3M 2000 because i'd run out of heavier paper and was too lazy to go down to the shop and get some, it was for a friend so i was aloud too be lazy lol.
Anyway after an hour with the 2000, i went back over the bonnet with a Sia 2000 velvet disk on the RO, then i use a green edge wool pad with presta cutting creme, menzerna 3.01 and a white 6" GPI pad a couple of times, and then finished off with Menzerna 85rd and a black GPI pad.
Total time was around 3 hrs.

Before

After sanding

After 3.01

After 85rd

Looks great mate,

I called by just as Jayde was starting, and got to see the before shots in the flesh
It was a very ordinary finish off the gun, I then called by a few hours later after half the job was done, MASSIVE DIFFERENCE, the orange peel was alot flatter and it actually showed a reflection.

Glad you didnt go with the 1200 and 1500 any flatter then what you got it and all the ripples in the fibreglass would have really shown up.

Job well done.
